Kirin Acecook Vietnam Beverage Company, a joint venture between Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Co. and Japan’s Kirin Beverage Co., July 16 opened a US$60 million factory to produce soft drinks in the southern province of Binh Duong.
Of the capital, US$34 million was poured into the first phase of the factory, which was licensed for investment in April last year. Each box contains 24 bottles.
The factory covers 2.7 hectares of land at My Phuoc II industrial zone (IZ) in Ben Cat district and has a production capacity of four million boxes of product per year.
It is the first in Vietnam to Japan’s aseptic filling technology and modern production equipment. (VNA)
