Mekong Delta Int’l Expo 2011 to Open in Soc Trang

The “Golden Rice” Fair, an annual event in Soc Trang province, is one of key national trade promotion activities initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in honour and advertisement of Vietnamese and international rice companies.

The Mekong International Agricultural Expo - Vietnam Golden Rice - Soc Trang Expo 2011 under the theme of “Towards a quality, secure and sustainably developed agriculture” will be held from April 27 to May 4, 2010 in Soc Trang City. Main activities will include Golden Rice gala in honour of outstanding entities, community-oriented programme, seminars on effective and safe farming and gardening, ASEAN Agriculture Expo, etc.
