Auto Expo 2005, a trade fair and conference on transport means and supporting industries, is set to open in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi from July 20 to 24 with the aim of developing the local automotive industry and its supporting industries.
The 4,000 square meter stalls will display popular as well as luxury cars and car parts.
The state-run Vinacoal says that it will show off Kamaz-trademarked heavy trucks while the private-run Truong Hai Auto Co. will introduce its China’s Foton trucks here. Russia, South Korea and China will exhibit their trucks at the event.
Supportive industries will present their parts and accessories for automobile, motorbike, train and ship manufacture; fuels, technologies and machinery for casting, mechanics, welding, thermal treatment, plating and painting sectors; car and motorbike parts, maintenance and repair tools and equipments.
There are separate rooms for China, Thailand and Singapore enterprises and those from South Korea, Malaysia, India, Japan and Russia.
The trade fair is also included symposiums and forums for policy makers, experts and enterprises to discuss the matters related to developing transport supportive industries.
