Vietnam’s second air carrier Pacific Airlines (PA) will reduce return tickets on the Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi flights to VND1,999,000 as of November 4, the airlines announced on October 19.
Beneficiaries from this program will be passengers who book tickets 30 days in advance.
The return air fares from either Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi to the central city of Danang will also drop to VND1,119,000.
PA has just opened a new service between Hanoi and Danang with one flight a day and increased the frequency of its flights on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route to 6-7 flights a day from only four.
Next year the carrier plans to apply e-booking services and launch four new international services connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Siem Riep.
Vietnam currently has two airlines, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and Pacific Airlines, which is a joint stock company.
