Binh Duong Province: Foreign Firms Bag US$1.9Bln from Exports in Jan-April

Foreign-invested enterprises in southern Binh Duong province raked in US$1.9 billion from goods exports in the first four months this year, over 70 per cent of the province’s total export value, said provincial authorities.
 
Key export items with the highest turnover and growth include wood products, garments, plastic products and coffee. This year, Binh Duong aims to earn $5.2 billion from exports, up 30 per cent-35 per cent on-year.
 
Binh Duong imported $1.4 billion worth of goods during the period. Principal imports were milk and milk products and raw materials for production. The province’s combined import and export turnover in the first four months increased 25 per cent on-year. (VNA)
