Rubber Group to Invest US$62.5 Mln in Tay Ninh

The Vietnam Rubber Industry Group has got approval from southwest Tay Ninh province’s authorities to build an industrial-urban-service complex in the locality, at a total cost of VND1 trillion (US$62.5 million), Vietnam News Agency reported.
 
The complex will be located on a site of 3,000 hectares on both the Phuong Dong and Boi Loi Industrial Parks in Go Dau and Trang Bang districts, some 60 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City and 10 km from Binh Duong province.
 
Around 700 hectares of the total area will be allocated for industrial area and another 150 hectares will be used for building a container port, next to Sai Gon River.
Separately, Vietnam Rubber Industry Group also plans to pour US$62.5 million into building Viet Hoa Industrial Park of 357 hectares in Nam Sach district, northern Hai Duong province, local newspaper said.
According to Tay Ninh province’s website, the province has been speeding up the ground clearance to build more industrial parks in Trang Bang, Go Dau, Chau Thanh and Ben Cau districts to meet increasing investment demand
The southern locality is seeking investors for 34 projects by 2010, with many big projects in hi-tech, agriculture, fruit processing, automobile tires and eco-tourism. (VNA, Tay Ninh’s Website)
