The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines (VNA), has announced that it will increase outbound flights late this month, the Young People reported.
Accordingly, the carrier will increase HCMC-Paris and HCMC-Melbourne routes from three to four flights a week, the Hanoi-Pusan and Hanoi-Beijing flights to five from three flights a week.
The HCMC-Singapore leg will increase from seven to 10 flights a week.
VNA will launch two more flights on its HCMC-Moscow and Hanoi-Moscow flights on the New Year holiday.
To meet rising travel demand during the remaining months of a year, the airline will also raise flights on inbound routes like Hanoi-HCMC, Hanoi-Danang, and HCMC-Danang by 10-16 per cent.
Vietnam Airlines’ Board of Directors has decided to appoint head of VNA’s Department of Passenger Marketing Trinh Hong Quang, VNA director for the southern region Duong Chi Thanh, and head of VNA Fleet 919 Phan Xuan Duc as deputy general directors of the airline. (Young People)
