Ca Mau to Invest VND100 billion to Dredge 12 Seaports

The province of Ca Mau decided to allocate VND100 billion (US$5m) to clear 12 seaports and estuaries as part of its development plan during 2012 - 2015. The province will spend VND25 billion for dredging massive amounts of soil and deepening seaports to serve high-capacity ships and vessels from 90 horsepower upward.

 

Seaports to be dredged include Song Doc, Khanh Hoi, Ganh Hoa, Bo De and Tam Giang. Estuaries are Bay Hap, Xang Hoi Cuong, Trem, Hoa Trung, Cam Mau and others.
