To implement the policy of the government on developing supporting industry for the transport sector and “Development strategy of Vietnamese auto industry in 2010, vision of 2020”, an international exhibition and seminar Vietnam Autoexpo 2005 will take place on July 20-24, 2005 at Giang Vo Exhibition Centre, Hanoi.
The exhibition will focus on the supporting industry with spare parts for auto manufacturing and assembling, motorbikes and other transport means (rail, water, air). The supporting industry is also related to materials, technology, moulding, mechanics, welding, coating, painting, maintenance and repair.
Mr Phan Dang Tuat, Head of Department for Development Policy, Ministry of Construction, said that the exhibition does not only introduce the potentials of Vietnamese supporting industry but also the orientation of the government regarding the sector.
Vietnam Autoexpo 2005 will promote co-operation, investment, partnership and joint venture between manufacturers.
