Hanoi Capital City Honours Contributions and Successes of Young Business People

The Hanoi Association of Young Enterprises on November 13, 2005 held a ceremony with the theme of “Shines of Thang Long Young Business People” at Hanoi Opera House to honour outstanding young enterprises of Hanoi City with the participation of leaders of central organizations, ministries, the Central Youth Union, the Central Association of Young People Coalitions, Vietnam Association of Young Businessmen, the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Hanoi, enterprises, and media agencies. 
 
The event is organized annually with the aim of appreciating large contributions of the Hanoi Association of Young Enterprises as well as its member enterprises to Vietnam’s socio-economic development over the past 20 years. The programme is also held on the occasion of the 995th Anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, the 49th Year of the Coalition of Vietnam Young People, and the 5th Anniversary of the movement to emulating young enterprises.  
 
Mr. Phuong Huu Viet, President of the Hanoi Association of Young Enterprises, said: “The association has attracted the participation of many young business people and enterprises which are very active and responsible for their labourers and the community. To gain shining successes in recent years, the association and its member enterprises have experienced great efforts. The strong, consecutive development of the association’s enterprises has partly contributed to the development of Vietnam’s economy.” 
 
With the aim of sharing difficulties of the poor, and handicapped people, at the Hanoi Association of Young Enterprises at the honouring ceremony called for its member enterprises to attend charity activities to donate bicycles and wheelchairs, and charity houses.
 
Followings are enterprises that were awarded the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit, “Shines of Thang Long Young Business People” Award and the Certificate of Merit from Hanoi People’s Committee at the ceremony.

Four enterprises provided with Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit:

Sieu Thanh Co.

Six business people provided with Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit:

-Bui Quang Ha, President and General Director of Cavico Vietnam
-Phan Chien Thang, President and General Director of Elcom Co.
-Nguyen Nhan, President and General Director of Sieu Thanh Co.
-Nguyen Hien Luong, President and Director of Marcom Marketing and Communication Co.
-Nguyen Binh Dong, Director of Vien Dong II Co.
 
Eight business people awarded “Shines of Thang Long Young Business People” Title and Certificate from Hanoi People’s Committee:
-Dang Duc Dung, Hung Viet Co.
-Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong, Tan A Co.
-Chau Thi Thu Nga, Land and House Construction Investment Joint-stock Co.
-Ho Hoang Hai, Phu Thanh Co.

In addition, there were 14 organisations and 19 individuals provided with the Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union, 12 organisations and 14 individuals provided with the Certificate of Merit from the Central Association of Young People Coalitions.
