Outstanding achievements
In 2024, while the implementation of the socio-economic development plan faced many difficulties and challenges, the city had made efforts to achieve many positive results. Accordingly, the total production value of economic sectors was estimated at VND71,893.2 billion, up 6.2% over the previous year. Of which, the foreign-invested economic sector contributed VND 58,336.2 billion (up 5.2%), while the domestic economic sector reached VND 13,557 billion (up 10.7%).
Six infrastructure projects, with a total investment of VND57,962 billion, have been submitted for approval, while 25 projects worth VND311,249 billion have already been approved. Public investment disbursement reached VND211,725 billion, or 65.39% of the plan. The city's budget revenue hit VND7,473 billion, surpassing the target at 105% and nearly matching last year’s figures. Cultural and sports activities thrived, education and training saw innovation and progress, and healthcare, population management, and food safety were effectively implemented. Urban planning, land management, environmental protection and rural development achieved significant results. Administrative reform, digital transformation, anti-corruption, and efforts to promote efficiency and prevent waste were also strengthened.

Phuc Yen’s achievements in 2024 highlight its remarkable growth as a young city and pave the way for future opportunities. With strong government leadership and public support, Phuc Yen is steadily advancing, emerging as a key driver of Vinh Phuc province’s socio-economic development.
The year 2025 holds special significance in achieving the goals of the 2021–2025 socio-economic development plan. It is also a key year for organizing Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 14th National Congress, opening a new era of national growth and progress. With the theme "Phuc Yen City firmly steps forward, resolutely implements tasks, focuses on removing bottlenecks to promote socio-economic development", Phuc Yen continues to affirm the spirit of determination and strength in implementing development solutions, making efforts to remove barriers, focusing on key tasks to create clear changes in economic development, improving the quality of life of people and building Phuc Yen into a modern, prosperous city.
In 2025, Phuc Yen city will continue implementing comprehensive measures to drive economic growth, attract both domestic and foreign investment, and enhance transport infrastructure while accelerating key projects. The city aims to develop agriculture sustainably through high-tech applications and proactively address challenges across industries. A strong focus will be placed on industrial parks, urban infrastructure, administrative reform, and efficient management to improve the investment climate and quality of life for residents.
