Japan Funds US$96,031 for Constructing Primary School in Nghe An province

 The signing ceremony of the grassroots grant contract of US$96,031 funded by the Government of Japan for “The Project for Constructing the Primary School of Thanh Tuong Commune” was held at the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam on July 14, 2011.
 
The Primary School of Thanh Tuong commune, Nghe An province was built over 50 years ago. Now it has become seriously degraded, raising concern about children’s safety. Under this circumstance, the people’s committee of Thanh Tuong Commune has planned to build a new building (2 floors 8 classrooms) in order to improve primary education of the commune. The Government of Japan has decided to grant an aid to purchase necessary materials for the project.
 
At the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanizaki said: “I hope that this project funded by the Government of Japan will improve primary education of Thanh Tuong commune, the friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and Vietnam will be further deepened”.
