The Lang Son Business Association is a voluntary social professional organisation representative of enterprises of all economic sectors, executives, scientists and professionals in Lang Son province and other localities with the intention and purpose of cooperating, exchanging and supporting each other in production, business and service. The association also advocates cooperation with domestic and foreign social and economic organisations for the sake of developing the Lang Son business community.
As a representative agency created to protect legitimate rights and interests of its members and as a bridge that connect businesses with authorities, the Lang Son Business Association, set up nearly two years ago, has promoted its roles systematically and professionally. The association has organised many activities, created a good environment for businesses to meet, discuss and exchange information, seek partners, organise training courses on thematic topics like strategy making, business planning, information updating and governance experience exchange.

The association also opened the official website and established the affiliated Women Entrepreneurs Club in order to help businesswomen to develop strongly in both quantity and quality, thus helping build a strong business community of Lang Son province. At the same time, the association seeks to admit new members by mobilising local businesses to join, helping units in trouble to deal with difficulties, intensifying consultation to governments at all levels to facilitate the operation of the association in general and of its members in particular.

In addition, the association has hosted many conferences and training workshops to help its members enhance corporate management skills, deal with capital shortage, and step up partnership and cooperation with other companies. It has also actively taken part in trade fairs to popularise product brands of enterprise.

In the coming years, the association will continue to strengthen the connectivity and partnership of companies inside and outside the province; complete the organisation and operation of its units; expand consultation on operations of member companies; survey training demands of companies to coordinate with relevant bodies to open training courses on basic economic knowledge for employees of its members. It will effectively perform its roles as a representative organisation for local enterprises and as a bridge to connect businesses and authorities to find common voice in troubleshooting.
